Two Vehicles Turned Over to Police in Central Luzon

Two motor vehicles were voluntarily surrendered to the Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) in separate incidents in Pampanga and Tarlac on June 4, 2026.

The PNP-HPG said the vehicles were turned over through the Regional Highway Patrol Unit 3 following verification of their status in connection with separate motor vehicle-related concerns.

In Pampanga, a Ford Territory SUV bearing plate number DAT 5575 was surrendered at the Provincial Highway Patrol Team Pampanga Office after its possessor was informed that the vehicle was linked to a previous complaint involving a failure-to-return incident.

In Tarlac, a Toyota Vios with plate number DBJ 6927 was voluntarily turned over to PHPT Tarlac after authorities confirmed through verification that the vehicle was covered by an existing hold order.

Both vehicles were checked through the HPG’s Vehicle Information Management System and are now subject to appropriate legal and administrative procedures.

PNP-HPG Director Police Brig. Gen. Rommel Batangan welcomed the cooperation of the individuals who surrendered the vehicles, saying it helps authorities resolve motor vehicle-related cases through lawful processes.

“The voluntary surrender of vehicles under investigation reflects the importance of public cooperation in addressing motor vehicle-related concerns,” Batangan said.

He added that such cooperation allows authorities to properly act on disputes, verify vehicle status, and ensure that legal procedures are followed.

The HPG said it will continue to pursue its mandate to protect motorists, rightful vehicle owners, and the public against vehicle-related irregularities and offenses.
