TikTok personality Andrea Brown has triggered another round of showbiz speculation after viral screenshots of posts allegedly from her account appeared to address her rumored relationship with actor Enrique Gil.
In the circulating posts, an account bearing Brown’s name pushed back against critics and told them to “hop off,” before adding, “so what if quen and i are together?” The same account also claimed that Gil had chosen her, that they were both happy, and that his family supposedly approved of their relationship.
The screenshots later made the rounds on Reddit, where users debated the posts and questioned whether the account was authentic. Some noted that the account appeared to have a small following, raising doubts over whether the posts were legitimate or intended to provoke online reactions.
The apparent admission drew attention because it seemed to contradict Brown’s earlier denial of rumors linking her to Gil. In March, Brown denied claims that she was pregnant or living with the actor, saying in an interview with Ogie Diaz that Gil was only a “Kuya” figure and that they were just friends.
Speculation about Brown and Gil began in October 2025 after photos and videos of them together circulated online. PEP previously reported that the two were following each other on Instagram and TikTok, and that Gil had liked Brown’s posts on her then-new Instagram account, further fueling talk among netizens.
The issue gained more traction this week after Daily Tribune reported that Brown had responded to an X user who repeatedly posted claims about her and Gil. In that exchange, Brown defended herself from criticism and insisted that she had her own talent, personality and “swag.”
Gil has yet to release a new statement addressing the latest viral posts. The actor had earlier denied being romantically involved with Brown, saying they were only friends, according to PEP’s January profile on the content creator.
The renewed buzz also comes months after Liza Soberano confirmed that she and Gil had already ended their longtime relationship.
