The Pateros municipal government is continuing its People’s Day program, giving residents a direct channel to raise concerns, request assistance and offer recommendations to local officials.
Mayor Gerald German led the activity with Local Youth Development Office Head Ryan Thed Millares, personally meeting residents and listening to issues affecting their communities.
The officials provided assistance and referred concerns requiring immediate action to the appropriate municipal offices.
The local government said the program is intended to make public services more accessible by strengthening communication between residents and officials.
It also aims to speed up responses to concerns that can be addressed promptly by municipal departments.
Residents were encouraged to participate and share their questions, concerns and recommendations as part of the municipality’s efforts to improve service delivery and expand public involvement in local governance.
