The Muntinlupa City government will convert the former Zapanta Learning Center in Barangay Bayanan into a facility for early childhood education and social services.
Mayor Ruffy Biazon signed a memorandum of agreement with the Zapanta family allowing the city to lease and use the building for its education and family assistance programs.
The property will house a Supervised Neighborhood Play Facility under the city’s Early Childhood Education Division. It will serve children aged three to four and expand access to the city’s early learning programs.
The building’s second floor will serve as an extension office of the Social Services Department, providing livelihood assistance and support services for solo parents and other residents.
City officials said the project aims to strengthen children’s early education while bringing essential social services closer to families in the community.
