DOE Reports Stable Fuel Supply in Mindanao Amid Ongoing Recovery Efforts

The Department of Energy (DOE) assured the public that fuel supply in Mindanao remains stable and sufficient as recovery efforts continue in areas affected by the recent earthquake.

The DOE said downstream oil operations are steadily normalizing, with the number of non-operational gasoline stations further declining from 12 to six. The improvement reflects ongoing restoration of fuel infrastructure and distribution networks in affected areas.

The agency said it continues to coordinate closely with industry stakeholders and local partners to monitor fuel availability, assess operational conditions, and address any potential supply disruptions.

It added that the measures are aimed at ensuring the uninterrupted supply of petroleum products for residents, emergency responders, critical facilities, and essential services.

The DOE reiterated its commitment to supporting recovery efforts while maintaining stable fuel supply as affected areas gradually return to normal operations.
