The 11th Infantry “Alakdan” Division gave full military honors to Armed Forces of the Philippines Pension and Gratuity Management Center (AFPPGMC) chief Commodore Luidegar Casis during his official visit to Jolo, Sulu on May 15.
Casis visited the 11ID headquarters at Kuta Heneral Teodulfo Bautista in Barangay Busbus, where he was welcomed by Maj. Gen. Leonardo Peña, commander of the 11th Infantry Division and Joint Task Force Orion.

The visit opened with a traditional Pangalay dance presentation, showcasing Tausug culture and the hospitality of the local community. Casis was later accorded full military honors by the division.
During an executive session, Casis thanked the 11ID leadership for the reception and reaffirmed the PGMC’s commitment to delivering responsive and efficient pension and gratuity services to AFP personnel, retirees, and their beneficiaries.

Peña, for his part, emphasized the importance of strong institutional coordination in sustaining the morale and welfare of soldiers, including retired personnel who dedicated their lives to military service.
The visit underscored continuing efforts within the AFP to strengthen welfare support systems and coordination between national offices and field units, particularly for service members, retirees, and their families.
