Scheduled power interruptions will hit key sections of Metro Manila and four adjacent provinces this week due to system maintenance, pole replacements and facility upgrades, Meralco announced Sunday.
The affected areas include parts of Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Quezon and Rizal. Meralco advised affected households and businesses to prepare for temporary loss of electricity during the designated maintenance windows.
Metro Manila Power Interruption Schedule
- Taguig City (Aug. 24, 12:01 AM – 5:00 AM): Portions of Brgy. Western Bicutan (Cucumber Rd., FTI Complex) due to pole retirement and facility reconstruction.
- Marikina & Quezon City (Aug. 24, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM): Parts of Brgy. Industrial Valley (Marikina) and villages in Libis and Blue Ridge (Quezon City) for facility relocation along Col. Bonny Serrano Ave.
- Quezon City (Aug. 25–26, 11:00 PM – 4:00 AM): Sections of Brgy. Talipapa in Novaliches due to pole replacement along Tandang Sora Ave.
- Quezon City (Aug. 26–27, 11:00 PM – 5:00 AM): Parts of Sta. Monica, Gulod and Novaliches Proper for upgrades along Quirino Highway.
- Manila (Aug. 26, 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM): Sections of Tondo (Nicolas Zamora and Juan Luna streets) for line reconstruction and facility installation.

- Bulacan: Portions of Brgy. Loma de Gato in Marilao on Aug. 24 (10 AM – 3 PM) and Brgy. Pio Cruzcosa in Calumpit on Aug. 26 (10 AM – 3 PM) for line reconductoring and pole replacement.
- Cavite: Portions of Brgy. Lantic in Carmona on Aug. 26 (10:15 AM – 3:15 PM) and Brgy. Panapaan VI in Bacoor City on Aug. 27–28 (11 PM – 4 AM) along Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Highway.
- Quezon: Portions of Brgy. Market View in Lucena City on Aug. 25–26 (11 PM – 4 AM) along Don Crisanto St.
- Rizal: Parts of Kalayaan, San Isidro, San Pedro, San Vicente, Sto. Niño and Angono Town Proper on Aug. 25–26 (11:30 PM – 4:30 AM) for line work along M.L. Quezon Ave.
