Three suspected drug personalities were arrested after authorities dismantled an alleged drug den during a buy-bust operation in Taguig City, early Sunday, August 2.

Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency–Regional Office National Capital Region, through its Southern District Office, carried out the operation in coordination with the Philippine National Police Southern Police Drug Enforcement Unit at around 1:25 a.m. inside a residential unit in Barangay Ususan.

The suspects were identified only by their aliases, “Regie,” 31, the alleged maintainer of the the drug den and primary target of the operation, “Henry,” 45 and “Sultani,” 46.

Authorities seized approximately 25 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated standard drug price of ₱170,000.

Also recovered during the operation were sachets of suspected shabu, including the one that has been sold to an undercover operative, marked buy-bust money, a mobile phone and other pieces of non-drug evidence.

Authorities also confiscated assorted drug paraphernalia, including aluminum foil strips and opened plastic sachets with traces of dangerous drugs and improvised tooters.

The suspects are facing charges for violating Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
