DTI Boosts Global Push for Filipino Products Through Export Programs

  • June 1, 2026

Filipino products are gaining a stronger foothold in international markets as the Department of Trade and Industry expands programs aimed at helping local businesses compete globally.

The DTI said it continues to support exporters through export seminars, certification assistance, and participation in international trade fairs. These initiatives are designed to help Philippine enterprises meet global standards, improve competitiveness, and access new markets.

The agency’s efforts are also aligned with the government’s Tatak Pinoy Strategy, which seeks to raise the profile of Philippine-made products through stronger branding and market development.

A key component of the strategy is the newly introduced Tatak Pinoy Seal, which promotes products that showcase Filipino quality, innovation, and craftsmanship.

According to the DTI, the initiative supports the Marcos administration’s goal of highlighting the talent, creativity, and excellence of Filipino entrepreneurs and manufacturers in the global market.

By strengthening export capabilities and building a distinct national brand, the government aims to open more opportunities for local businesses, boost the competitiveness of Philippine products, and support economic growth through expanded trade and investment.
