Filipinos planning a quick local getaway, a family reunion abroad, or a long-awaited vacation may find more affordable flight options as Philippine Airlines opens discounted fares for trips starting in August.
The airline’s Freedom Seat Sale will run from June 15 to 17, 2026, covering round-trip Economy base fares for flights originating from the Philippines.
Under the promo, travelers may book domestic flights with up to 50 percent off base fares, while select international routes are offered with up to 40 percent off.
The travel period begins in August, giving passengers time to plan ahead for holidays, family visits, work breaks, or milestone trips.
For local travelers, the sale includes popular Philippine destinations such as Boracay, Palawan, Cebu, Iloilo, and Davao — places often chosen for beach escapes, food trips, cultural visits, and short city breaks.
Those planning regional trips may also find discounted fares to Asian destinations such as Hong Kong, Xiamen, Taipei, Bangkok, Denpasar, Hanoi, Phnom Penh, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore.
For longer journeys, the airline said the sale also covers routes to Australia, Canada, and the United States, which may appeal to families planning reunions, students, overseas workers, and travelers saving up for major trips.
PAL said seats under the promo are expected to sell quickly, advising passengers to book early before sale fares run out.
The airline’s full-service flights include meals, baggage allowance, and onboard service.
For domestic bookings worth at least P20,000, travelers may also avail themselves of a zero-percent credit card installment option payable over three months through participating banks, including BPI, Metrobank, and HSBC.
As travel costs remain a major consideration for many households, early booking and seat sale fares may help travelers stretch their budgets while locking in plans months ahead.
