Authorities are investigating a parking dispute that went viral on social media after a video appeared to show an individual brandishing a firearm during a confrontation outside a residence.

In a statement issued Sunday, June 27, the Mandaluyong City Police said the incident is being treated with the “highest level of urgency and concern,” acknowledging public alarm over the alleged display of a weapon in a residential area.

Police have deployed investigators to identify the parties involved, verify the circumstances, and assess the legality of the firearm. Officers are reviewing the viral footage and gathering statements from witnesses to establish the facts of the case.

The police reminded the public to resolve conflicts peacefully through dialogue or by seeking assistance from barangay officials or law enforcement, and warned that using a firearm to threaten others is illegal and may result in legal and administrative action.

Authorities encouraged anyone involved or who witnessed the incident to coordinate with the Mandaluyong City Police Investigation Section to aid in the ongoing investigation. The police pledged to maintain public safety and promised further updates as verified information becomes available.
