During the regular Flag-Raising Ceremony led by Ospital ng Sampaloc, the City Government of Manila highlighted the city’s efforts to strengthen digital literacy through the donation of a Mobile Computer Learning Center from JCI Manila.
The mobile learning facility is expected to enhance the city’s library system and provide students and learners with greater access to computers and digital education resources. The initiative aims to help bridge the digital divide and create more opportunities for Manileños to develop essential technology and learning skills.

The city government expressed its gratitude to JCI Manila for its continued partnership and support for the City of Manila, noting its contributions during the height of the pandemic to various programs that promote education, knowledge-sharing, and opportunities for residents.
Meanwhile, several personnel from the Department of Environment and Public Services (DEPS) were recognized for demonstrating honesty, integrity, and dedication to public service by returning items they found while carrying out their duties. Honored during the ceremony were Cristina Herrera, Rowena Soriano, Ronald Quiambao, Theresa Sacal, Josephine Claus, and Manolito Recinto, whose actions serve as an example of integrity and commitment in government service.
