A detached portion of a flyover wall created a road hazard along the southbound lane of the Tramo Flyover in Pasay City on Thursday evening, prompting authorities to secure the area and install warning devices for motorists.
Traffic authorities said the incident was reported at around 7:16 p.m. near Winston Hotel along the southbound portion of the flyover.
One lane was temporarily occupied as responders placed safety lines around the affected section to prevent accidents and protect motorists passing through the area.

The incident was immediately coordinated with the Department of Public Works and Highways for assessment and appropriate action. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Road Safety Unit was also deployed to install additional early warning devices.

As of 8:54 p.m., MMDA-RSU personnel had placed reflectorized markings on the plastic barriers earlier installed by the DPWH to improve visibility, especially for motorists using the flyover at night.
Authorities have yet to determine whether further repairs or additional lane closures will be needed pending assessment of the damaged flyover wall.
