Officials of the Clerks of Court Association of the Philippines (CoCAP) met with the Makati City Police Station to strengthen coordination between the judiciary and law enforcement, particularly in the handling and disposal of long-stored court evidence.

The courtesy visit and dialogue focused on inter-agency cooperation, justice sector coordination, and the proper disposition and destruction of court evidence kept for 15 years or more, in line with existing legal procedures.

Makati CPS said the meeting helped reinforce institutional ties and promote more efficient evidence management practices, as well as a shared commitment to faster and more people-centered public service.

Police Col. Pedro Alagano Jr., Makati chief of police, led the police officials during the meeting, along with Police Maj. Albert Juanillo Jr. and other personnel.

The CoCAP delegation was headed by National President Rochelle Anne Obleno, RTC CoCAP Makati Chapter President Edgar Allan Ramos, and RTC CoCAP Manila Chapter President Kimberly Agniezka Cortez.
