The Philippine National Police–Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) arrested seven wanted individuals in a series of coordinated manhunt operations conducted across several provinces from April 22 to 23, 2026.

Authorities said the operations targeted suspects facing charges ranging from property damage and theft to attempted murder and violations of special laws.

In Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, a 19-year-old man was arrested on April 23 by the Provincial Highway Patrol Team (PHPT)-Ilocos Sur for reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property. The arrest, carried out in Barangay Sarsaracat, was based on a court-issued warrant, with bail set at P12,000.

Earlier that day in Angeles City, a 26-year-old man was arrested in Barangay Calulut by PHPT-Pampanga for violating Republic Act No. 10591. Police said he was taken into custody to serve his sentence.

In Bacolod City, operatives from the Regional Highway Patrol Unit (RHPU)–Negros Island Region apprehended a 48-year-old man listed among the province’s top 10 most wanted individuals and ranked third at the municipal level. He faces an attempted murder charge, with bail recommended at P120,000.

Another arrest was made in Calaca City, Batangas, where a 36-year-old man was taken into custody by PHPT-Batangas for acts of lasciviousness under the Revised Penal Code in relation to Republic Act No. 7610. Bail was set at P200,000.

In Lipa City, a 53-year-old suspect was arrested by PHPT-Cavite on April 22 in Barangay Pinagtong Ulan for qualified theft following an intelligence-driven operation.

In San Mariano, Isabela, authorities apprehended a man listed as the second most wanted person at the provincial level for violating Republic Act No. 10883 (New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016). The arrest took place in Barangay Sta. Felomina, with bail set at P300,000.

Another suspect, a 38-year-old man, was arrested in Antipolo City for the same offense. He was also listed among the most wanted individuals at the provincial level, with bail likewise set at P300,000.

All arrested individuals are now in police custody and undergoing documentation before being turned over to the courts that issued their warrants.

Acting HPG Director Rommel Batangan said the operations reflect the group’s sustained efforts to track down fugitives nationwide.

“These successful operations demonstrate our continued commitment to pursue wanted persons across the country,” Batangan said, adding that coordinated, intelligence-driven efforts remain key to ensuring suspects face justice.

The PNP-HPG also called on the public to support law enforcement by providing information that could help locate wanted individuals as it continues its mandate to maintain safety on the country’s roads.
