Malacañang has expressed gratitude to outgoing officials Eduardo Año and Carlito Galvez Jr., while assuring the public of a smooth leadership transition with the appointment of their successors to key government posts.
The Palace formally thanked both officials for their years of public service, recognizing their contributions in military and civilian roles.
In a statement, Executive Secretary Ralph Recto lauded Año and Galvez for decades of dedicated work in safeguarding national security, maintaining peace and order, and serving the Filipino people.
Recto also expressed confidence in their successors, Eduardo Oban Jr. and Mel Senen Sarmiento, citing their extensive government experience and strong grasp of national issues.
He said the new appointees are expected to ensure continuity in governance and the effective implementation of key priorities.
The Palace also assured the public that the leadership transition will not disrupt ongoing efforts, particularly those related to national security and public welfare.
