President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has instructed oversight agencies to expedite the processing and release of the fiscal year 2024 Performance-Based Bonus (PBB) and related incentive benefits for public school teachers nationwide.
Speaking during National Teachers’ Day celebrations, the Chief Executive affirmed that government agencies must eliminate administrative bottlenecks delaying benefits owed to educators.
He also said, “At hindi tayo titigil doon.
The directive forms part of broader executive efforts to improve compensation, working conditions, and professional development opportunities for instructional staff in public schools.
Education officials confirmed that administrative units are working closely with oversight bodies to ensure prompt fund disbursement directly to qualified teaching personnel.
