Residents across multiple areas in Metro Manila, Rizal, Cavite, and Bulacan face scheduled water service disruptions starting Sunday, October 4, through October 11, 2026, as concessionaires Manila Water Company Inc. and Maynilad Water Services Inc. conduct essential maintenance, pipe repairs, and system testing.
Manila Water announced that line maintenance operations will cut water flow in parts of Barangay Marikina Heights in Marikina City from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., covering October 6 to 7.
In Quezon City, zero-pressure testing, pipe connection works, and cut-and-plug operations will cause outages during the same overnight hours from October 6 to 7 across portions of Barangays Pinyahan, Central, and Matandang Balara. Parts of San Juan City will also undergo leak detection maintenance from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. between October 8 and 9.
Additional Manila Water maintenance, including valve repairs, zero-pressure tests, and pressure-release valve installations, will trigger rotating overnight interruptions across sections of Taguig City, Pasig City, and Cainta, Rizal, running through October 6 to 9.
In Antipolo City, line meter declogging will affect portions of Barangay Dalig from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. on October 5 to 6 and October 7 to 8. Zero-pressure testing will also suspend service in parts of Barangays Mayamot and Cupang from October 6 to 7. In the towns of Binangonan and Cardona, Rizal, pipe interconnections, leak checks, and repairs will disrupt water supply across several communities from October 6 to 8.
Meanwhile, Maynilad reported that leak repairs, valve installations, and meter replacements will disrupt service in parts of Malabon City and Quezon City from October 6 to 7.
Broader Maynilad maintenance operations scheduled from October 10 to 11 will affect Novaliches, Quezon City, and parts of Caloocan City. Service in these areas will be cut starting at 10 p.m. and could remain off until as late as 1 p.m. the following day.
Extended disruptions will also affect large sections of Valenzuela City and select areas in Obando, Bulacan, where clearing and facility maintenance from October 10 to 11 will cut water service between 10 p.m. and 3 p.m.
In Cavite, several barangays in Imus City will experience daily 19-hour service cuts from October 5 through October 11, lasting from 5 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Maynilad attributed the prolonged disruptions in Imus to network and operational constraints at its Patindig Araw Pumping Station.
Both utility companies advised household and business customers in all affected sectors to store sufficient water ahead of the scheduled downtime and manage consumption throughout the maintenance window.
