President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. pulled up to Valenzuela and Caloocan on Tuesday, securing major wins for local families through the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Initiative alongside the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD).
Accompanied by DHSUD Housing Chief Jose Ramon Aliling, the President opened the day by personally handing over housing certificates to future residents of the Disiplina Village Arkong Bato in Valenzuela City.
Rolled out under the Expanded 4PH framework by the National Housing Authority (NHA), the developments aim to deliver 960 modern living units tailored for informal settler households relocating from hazardous zones and areas covered by the Supreme Court mandate to clear Manila Bay.
Right now, Phases 1 through 3 are officially live with nine buildings housing 333 finished units. Move-ins started rolling out in April 2026.
Transitioning straight to Caloocan City afterward, President Marcos hosted a land title distribution for beneficiaries under the Social Housing Finance Corporation’s (SHFC) Enhanced Community Mortgage Program (ECMP).
During the session, 110 land titles were formally handed over to qualified members of the Llano Homeowners Association Federation in Caloocan, giving residents full ownership of their plots.
Both ceremonies highlight the current administration’s ongoing push to guarantee property rights for everyday Filipinos, helping communities upgrade toward stable, comfortable living conditions.
“Patunay ang mga activities na eto sa patuloy na pag arangkada ng Expanded 4PH, at alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., mas paiigtingin pa ng DHSUD at aming mga KSAs ang pagsusulong ng programang ito na tumutupad sa maraming pangarap ng pamilyang Pilipino,” Secretary Aliling said.
Top government officials joining the events included Senior Undersecretary Eduardo Robles Jr., SHFC Head Federico Laxa, NHA General Manager Joeben Tai, alongside key delegates from DHSUD and SHFC.
