President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has declared special non-working days in the City of Digos, Davao del Sur, and the Municipality of General Nakar, Quezon Province to allow residents to participate in their respective local celebrations.
Under Proclamation No. 1350, Monday, July 20, 2026, was declared a special non-working day in Digos City in observance of the Padigosan Festival.
The festival was originally scheduled for July 19, 2026, which falls on a Sunday. The declaration was issued following a request from the Digos City government to move the observance to July 20 to allow residents to fully participate in the festivities.
Meanwhile, Proclamation No. 1351 declared Tuesday, July 21, 2026, a special non-working day in the Municipality of General Nakar, Quezon Province, in celebration of its Founding Anniversary.
Both proclamations were signed on July 14 by Acting Executive Secretary Ralph G. Recto, by authority of President Marcos.
