President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has declared special non-working days in Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya, and Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental, to allow residents to take part in local celebrations.
Under Proclamation No. 1332, July 3, 2026, was declared a special non-working day in the Municipality of Bambang for the celebration of Bambang Day.
Although Bambang Day falls on Sunday, July 5, the proclamation moved the special non-working day to July 3 to give residents the opportunity to fully participate in the festivities.
Meanwhile, Proclamation No. 1331 declared July 14, 2026, a special non-working day in Guihulngan City for the celebration of its Charter Anniversary.
The proclamation said the city’s Charter Anniversary is an important milestone and that it is “fitting and proper” to allow residents to join commemorative activities.
Both proclamations were signed on June 25 by Acting Executive Secretary Ralph G. Recto, by authority of the President.
