DOE: Fuel Prices Face Mixed Adjustments This Week Amid Oil Market Shifts

The Department of Energy said petroleum price adjustments for June 30 to July 6 may either result in small rollbacks or increases, depending on the fuel product and final pricing by oil companies.

Based on the DOE Oil Industry Management Bureau’s June 29 update, gasoline products may see adjustments ranging from a P0.10-per-liter rollback to a P1.90-per-liter increase.

The same permitted adjustment range applies to RON 97, RON 95, and RON 91 gasoline.

For diesel and diesel plus, the DOE said prices may move within a range of a P1.16-per-liter rollback to a P0.84-per-liter increase.

Kerosene prices may range from a P0.78-per-liter rollback to a P1.22-per-liter increase.

The DOE said the adjustments reflect movements in international oil prices amid continued developments in the global market, including tensions in the Middle East that may affect supply and pricing.

The agency said it continues to monitor international oil market conditions and coordinate with industry stakeholders to help ensure stable and sufficient fuel supply in the country.

Final pump price adjustments will depend on the advisories of individual oil companies.
