PAL to Resume Nonstop Manila-Dubai Flights on October 2

Philippine Airlines will resume nonstop flights between Manila and Dubai on October 2, restoring a key route for overseas Filipinos, business travelers, tourists, and cargo customers moving between the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates.

The flag carrier said it will initially operate four weekly flights on the Manila-Dubai route, with plans to gradually restore daily service as operational conditions allow.

PAL said the route will strengthen air connectivity with Dubai, one of the Middle East’s busiest commercial and travel hubs. Dubai also serves as a major gateway to destinations across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

The resumption comes as travel to the UAE has become more convenient for some Filipino travelers. Eligible Filipino passport holders may obtain a visa on arrival in the UAE if they hold a valid visa, residence permit, or Green Card issued by the United States, the European Union or Schengen Area, Australia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Canada, or New Zealand.

To mark the relaunch, PAL said it is offering an introductory all-in round-trip fare starting at $650 for a limited time, subject to applicable terms and conditions.

The airline earlier reported a net income of $78.77 million in the first quarter of 2026, up 2.6 percent from the same period last year. Total revenue rose 9.7 percent to $895.70 million.

PAL currently operates scheduled nonstop flights from its hubs in Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Davao to 30 domestic destinations and 41 international destinations across Asia, North America, Australia, and the Middle East.
