Makati City police arrested the city’s No. 4 most wanted person for January 2026 in a warrant-based operation in Barangay Poblacion on Tuesday evening. The suspect is facing a charge of rape by sexual assault.

Police identified the suspect by the alias “Chima,” who was arrested at around 6:20 p.m. inside a hostel by operatives of the Warrant and Subpoena Unit of the Makati City Police Station led by PCPT Rodney G. Dalena.

The arrest was carried out under a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 62, Makati City, dated December 1, 2025, for violation of Article 266-A of Republic Act 8353 (Anti-Rape Law of 1997). Bail was set at ₱120,000.

Authorities said body-worn cameras and alternative recording devices were used during the operation in compliance with Supreme Court guidelines on warrant execution.

The suspect was informed of his constitutional rights and remains in police custody pending documentation and turnover of the warrant return to the issuing court.

Makati City Police Chief PCOL Pedro A. Alagano Jr. commended the operating team, underscoring the ongoing campaign against wanted persons and the commitment to uphold law enforcement and public safety in the city.
