The Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) reported sustained operational gains for the period June 1 to 15, 2026, highlighting intensified enforcement against cyber-enabled crimes nationwide.

During the period, the unit referred a total of 95 cases for filing, consisting of 71 regular complaints and 24 inquest proceedings, as cyber operations led to the arrest of 43 individuals. These include suspects apprehended through entrapment operations, wanted persons, and arrests carried out through other targeted law enforcement actions. The group also recorded six convictions in cyber-related cases.

The PNP-ACG implemented 57 Warrants to Disclose Computer Data (WDCD) and three Warrants to Search, Seize, and Examine Computer Data, supporting ongoing investigations into digital offenses and online criminal activity.

Operationally, cyber units conducted 1,172 cyber patrolling activities, along with 23 digital forensic examinations, and reported the rescue of 10 victims of cybercrime, underscoring continued efforts to respond to online exploitation and fraud cases.

PNP-ACG Director PMGen. Wilson C. Asueta said the unit remains focused on strengthening enforcement and ensuring accountability in cyberspace, in line with directives from PNP leadership to intensify cybercrime operations nationwide.

PNP Chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. earlier directed sustained operations against cybercriminal networks as part of broader efforts to enhance digital public safety and law enforcement capacity.
