Zack Tabudlo’s latest love song begins with a familiar hesitation: after heartbreak, how do you let someone in again?
“Isang Tulad Mo,” released October 23 through Republic Records Philippines, follows that uncertainty toward the discovery of a connection that makes opening up feel possible. Written, composed and performed by Tabudlo, the guitar-led single puts renewed affection at the center of his return to solo releases.
The singer has a personal dedication behind it.
“So here it is, a modern day harana I wrote for the love of my life,” Tabudlo shared on Instagram.
In the accompanying social media video, he performs while seated on a swing, playing an acoustic guitar. The simple setting matches the intimate approach of the slow acoustic track: a singer, his instrument and something he wants to tell someone.
Tabudlo describes the song as an expression of the happiness he has found in love. Its story moves through the nervous excitement of a new relationship, with someone gradually becoming willing to trust their feelings after an earlier disappointment.
The release is his first solo single since “For You” in November 2025. He also appeared on “Tunay,” a collaboration with Nateman, Robledo Timido and Paul N Ballin released in February 2026. That makes “Isang Tulad Mo” a return to releasing music on his own, following a collaborative outing earlier this year.
For listeners who know him through “Binibini” and “Nangangamba,” the new track offers another expression of the romantic vulnerability associated with his music. This time, the feeling he wants to share is the relief—and excitement—of finding someone worth opening his heart to.
