Staying Connected Amid Rising Fuel and Living Costs

As tensions continue to push fuel and energy costs upward, many Filipinos are finding new ways to manage daily expenses without compromising on essential needs—like staying connected.

To support Filipinos, Globe Telecom Inc. has introduced a range of services designed to give customers greater flexibility in how they use and pay for mobile and broadband access.

Among the options are personalized plans that allow users to match their subscriptions with their actual usage and budget, helping avoid unnecessary costs. There are also data swap features, which let customers convert unused data into services they need more, offering a more practical way to maximize what they already have.

For those navigating tighter cash flow, access to small loans for essential expenses is also being made available, providing an added layer of support for everyday needs.

Customers can also tap into rewards, vouchers, and broadband discounts, which can help stretch spending a little further during uncertain times.

Beyond products and promos, the company said it is strengthening its customer support through digital platforms and proactive service, ensuring that users remain assisted even during disruptions.

The effort reflects the shift to helping people stay productive, connected, and in control despite rising costs and an unpredictable global environment.

“Our role goes beyond providing connectivity,” said Carl Cruz, Globe president and chief executive officer. “We are here to give Filipinos the confidence to keep going, to stay connected to what matters, and to thrive and move forward with purpose despite the challenges around them,” he ended.
