Heavy rainfall flooded several major thoroughfares and residential areas across Quezon City on Saturday afternoon, August 8, with floodwaters reaching head-deep levels in at least one barangay, according to a road status report released by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) as of 1:23 p.m.
The severe flooding rendered multiple streets impassable to various types of vehicles, prompting local authorities to monitor conditions closely and advise residents to exercise extreme caution.
The deepest floodwaters were recorded in Barangay Tatalon, where water levels reached head-deep (60 inches or higher) along Ilog Erod Villa España.
Other heavily impacted areas include:

- Barangay Del Monte: Valencia, Navarette, and Apollo Streets at the corner of West Riverside Street.
- Barangay Doña Imelda: Looban areas near the river along Kapiligan (reaching 29 to 48 inches).
- Knee-Deep:
- Barangay Roxas: Gumamela Street.
- Barangay Apolonio Samson: Christine Libis (Parkway Village) and Geraldine Maynilad.
- Barangay Sienna: N.S. Amoranto corner Bingo Street.
- Barangay Del Monte: 21 and 85 West Riverside Street, Ma. Clara (corner AIB, Alley, and corner Araneta), Don Pepe (baba and corner Ma. Clara), Biak na Bato corner Don Manuel, Don Jose corner Don Manuel and alleys along Talipapa tabing-ilog.
- Barangay Tatalon: 114 Punong Diablo.
- Half-Tire to Half-Knee Deep:
- Barangay Vasra: Zamboanga Street near Bai Compound.
- Barangay Sto. Domingo (Matalahib): Sto. Domingo corner Calamba, Banawe corner Retiro, Retiro corner Don Jose and Calamba corner Don Jose.
- Barangay Sienna: N.S. Amoranto (corners Don Jose, Palali, and Sct. Alcaraz).
- Gutter-Deep:
- Barangay Lourdes: D. Tuazon corner Ma. Clara and Speaker Perez corner Ma. Clara.
- Barangay Damayan: West Riverside, Caragay and San Pedro Bautista Streets.
- Barangay Sienna: N.S. Amoranto (corners Ubay and Tabayoc).
- Barangay Tatalon: Elga Familara and near Funeraria Paz.
- Barangay Damayang Lagi: Blocks 1 through 6 along the river riverbank.
