Saudi Arabia’s new national carrier, Riyadh Air, will launch its first flight to Manila on September 9, 2026, marking another step in its international expansion and strengthening air.

The airline has opened ticket sales for its new daily nonstop service between King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila.

The inaugural flight, RX0873, is scheduled to depart Riyadh at 1:05 a.m. local time and arrive in Manila at 3:55 p.m. on September 9.

The return flight, RX0874, will leave Manila at 5:25 p.m. and arrive in Riyadh at 10:15 p.m. The route will operate daily.

The Manila route forms part of Riyadh Air’s expanding network in Asia and supports the airline’s goal of positioning Riyadh as a major global aviation hub.

Manila will become one of the carrier’s key destinations in the region, reflecting the growing economic, tourism and cultural ties between Saudi Arabia and the Philippines.

The new route is expected to benefit thousands of Filipino travelers, particularly the large Filipino community living and working in Saudi Arabia, by providing a direct and more convenient connection between the two capitals.

It is also expected to meet the increasing travel demand driven by business partnerships, educational exchanges and leisure and wellness tourism between the two countries.

Beyond direct travel between Riyadh and Manila, the new service will give passengers  access to Riyadh as a gateway to the airline’s expanding international network.

Riyadh Air will operate the route using its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, offering Business Elite, Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins.

Established in March 2023, Riyadh Air is pursuing a growth strategy centered on a modern fleet, digital innovation and sustainability. The airline aims to serve more than 100 destinations worldwide by 2030 while positioning Riyadh as a leading international aviation hub and showcasing Saudi hospitality to global travelers.
