Eight most wanted persons were arrested in separate manhunt operations conducted by various units and stations of the Quezon City Police District, the QCPD said Friday.

QCPD director Brig. Gen. Randy Glenn Silvio said the arrests were carried out by police teams across the city from May 12 to 14, based on warrants issued by different branches of the Quezon City Regional Trial Court.

Among those arrested was alias “Miguel,” 22 years old, listed as the No. 6 Most Wanted Person of Anonas Police Station. He was apprehended by operatives of the District Special Operations Unit and Anonas Police Station at around 9:30 pm on May 12 along Masaya Street corner Maginhawa Street in Barangay Old Capitol Site. Police said he is facing a warrant for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Novaliches police also arrested alias “Jewel,” 31 years old, the station’s No. 5 Most Wanted Person, at around 4:10 pm on May 13 along Don Crispulo Street in Barangay Gulod. He is also facing a drug-related case under RA 9165.

In Cubao, police arrested alias “Mark Anthony,” 30 years old, listed as the No. 3 Most Wanted Person of Cubao Police Station, at around 1:40 pm on May 14. QCPD said he has a standing warrant for violation of RA 9165 and previous cases for unjust vexation, direct assault, and resistance and disobedience to a person in authority.

The Payatas-Bagong Silangan Police Station arrested two wanted persons in separate operations. Alias “Jessie,” 55 years old, the station’s No. 3 Most Wanted Person, was arrested at around 6:20 pm on May 12 in front of Hobart Homes Subdivision on Zuzuarregui Street in Barangay Old Balara. Police said he is facing warrants for two counts of qualified rape and had a previous record for violation of the Anti-Rape Law in May 2025.

The same station also served a warrant on alias “Dexter,” 27 years old, listed as its No. 9 Most Wanted Person, at the New Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Quezon City custodial facility in Barangay Bagong Silangan on May 13. He is facing a case for violation of RA 9165 and had previous records for illegal gambling and drug-related offenses, police said.

Holy Spirit Police Station, meanwhile, arrested alias “Carl Rafael,” 23 years old, its No. 8 Most Wanted Person, at his residence in Barangay Holy Spirit at around 3 pm on May 13. He is also facing a drug-related case under RA 9165.

Police Station 14 operatives arrested alias “James Kyle,” 30 years old, listed as the station’s No. 6 Most Wanted Person, at around 6 pm on May 13 along Macopa Street in Barangay Culiat. He is facing a warrant for reckless imprudence resulting in slight physical injury and had a previous drug-related record, according to police.

In Pasong Putik, police arrested alias “Joshua,” 38 years old, the No. 4 Most Wanted Person of Pasong Putik Police Station, at his residence at around 5 pm on May 13. He is facing a warrant for violation of RA 9165.

The QCPD said the respective courts that issued the warrants would be notified of the arrests.

“Ang matagumpay na pagkakaaresto sa mga wanted persons ay isang tunay na indikasyon ng aming determinasyong gampanan ang aming sinumpaang tungkulin na ipatupad ang batas at panatilihin ang kaayusan at katahimikan sa komunidad,” Silvio said as he commended the operating units.
