The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) arrested 21 wanted persons, including 13 Most Wanted Persons (MWPs) and eight Other Wanted Persons (OWPs), during intensified “Warrant Day” operations conducted across Quezon City.

In a statement, QCPD Director Randy Glenn Silvio said the operations led to the successful service of warrants for crimes such as murder, rape, qualified rape, illegal recruitment, estafa, carnapping, theft, sexual assault, and violations of special laws.

Among those arrested was alias “Dean Michael,” the No. 7 Most Wanted Person of Anonas Police Station 9, who was apprehended by the District Anti-Carnapping Unit at around 9:30 am along EDSA corner Quezon Avenue in Diliman. Authorities said the 48-year-old Manila resident faces a pending frustrated murder case before Branch 219 of the Quezon City Regional Trial Court.

Police also served a warrant against alias “Alvin,” identified as the No. 3 district-level Most Wanted Person, at the Angeles District Jail-Male Dormitory in Pampanga. The suspect faces a murder case before Branch 77 of the Quezon City RTC.

In another operation, Masambong Police Station 2 arrested its No. 1 Most Wanted Person, alias “Ryle,” a 20-year-old suspect facing rape charges. He was arrested at his residence in Barangay Masambong.

Authorities likewise served a warrant against alias “Karen Caye,” who is facing illegal recruitment and estafa charges before a court in North Cotabato. The suspect, who was located at the BJMP facility in Calamba City, Laguna, was also found to have previous estafa and illegal recruitment cases dating back to 2025.

Meanwhile, Talipapa Police Station 3 arrested alias “Ulysses,” tagged as its No. 3 Most Wanted Person, in Allen, Northern Samar. The suspect is facing charges of sexual assault, three counts of qualified rape, and four counts of acts of lasciviousness.

Other notable arrests included alias “Marco,” who is wanted for violating the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016; alias “Rolly,” who faces theft charges; alias “Dick,” who is wanted for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002; and alias “Star,” who faces charges under the Anti-Bouncing Check Law.

Police also arrested alias “Josue,” the No. 2 Most Wanted Person of Payatas Bagong Silangan Police Station 13, in Baras, Rizal. He is facing four counts of qualified rape and was also found to have previous records involving property damage and violations of laws protecting children and against sexual abuse.

The QCPD said the courts that issued the warrants would be notified regarding the arrests.

“I commend our operatives for the successful conduct of the Warrant Day Operations, which resulted in the arrest of the 21 wanted persons in just a day,” Silvio said.

“These accomplishments reflect the QCPD’s intensified campaign against fugitives and our commitment to enforce the law and serve warrants efficiently,” he added.
