THE Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested 20 regional most wanted persons in coordinated warrant operations conducted across the country from 8 a.m. of June 5 to 8 a.m. of June 6, 2026.

Based on reports from various Police Regional Offices, the suspects were arrested through synchronized police operations in multiple areas for serious criminal charges, including rape, qualified rape, statutory rape, sexual assault, murder, parricide, syndicated estafa, and violations of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and Republic Act No. 7610, or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.

All arrested persons are now under the custody of concerned police units and detention facilities for proper disposition and court proceedings.

Among the notable arrests were two No. 2 most wanted persons. One was arrested in Malabon City under the National Capital Region Police Office for murder, while another was arrested in Agusan del Norte under Police Regional Office 13 for syndicated estafa.

Police also arrested a No. 4 most wanted person in Quezon City for multiple counts of qualified rape and acts of lasciviousness under RA 7610, and a No. 5 most wanted person in Agusan del Norte for statutory rape.

A No. 6 most wanted person was arrested in Negros Oriental for statutory rape, while another No. 6 most wanted person was apprehended in Iligan City under a separate statutory rape case.

Authorities also arrested a No. 7 most wanted person in Nueva Vizcaya for two counts of violation of RA 7610, another No. 7 most wanted person in Leyte for parricide, and a No. 8 most wanted person in Cabadbaran City for rape.

In Iloilo City, police arrested a No. 9 most wanted person for rape. In Cebu, a No. 10 most wanted person was served a warrant for violation of RA 9165 while already inside a detention facility.

PNP Chief Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. commended the operating units for the nationwide operations, saying the arrests reflect the police force’s continuing campaign against wanted persons.

“Patuloy po ang ating operasyon laban sa mga may outstanding warrants. Hindi tayo titigil hangga’t hindi naihaharap sa hukuman ang mga dapat managot. These accomplishments show our strong resolve to enforce the law while ensuring due process,” Nartatez said.

He said the results also showed the effectiveness of intelligence-driven policing and coordination among regional police offices.

The PNP said the operations were conducted in line with its focused agenda on enhanced police operations, particularly the monitoring, tracking, and service of warrants against wanted persons.

Police also assured the public that the operations were conducted professionally and in accordance with legal procedures, with respect for constitutional rights.
