Personnel of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Davao Occidental Provincial Office turned over relief packs to the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) on June 15, 2026, to support ongoing response operations for families affected by the recent earthquake in the Municipality of Sarangani, Davao Occidental.
The assistance is part of continuing relief efforts for communities impacted by the strong earthquake that struck parts of Mindanao. The relief packs, composed of essential food items and necessities, were formally handed over to the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council for proper distribution to affected residents.

The initiative is intended to provide immediate support to families facing urgent needs in the aftermath of the seismic event.
PDEA Davao Occidental said the activity underscores its broader role beyond its anti-illegal drug mandate, extending assistance through community support and disaster response initiatives. The office emphasized its intention to help alleviate hardship experienced by affected communities during emergencies.
The provincial office also reiterated its commitment to coordination with partner agencies and local government units in advancing public welfare, disaster resilience, and recovery efforts in crises.
