Two suspected drug personalities were arrested after authorities seized around 10 kilograms of suspected shabu worth an estimated P68 million in a buy-bust operation in Pasay City on June 6, 2026.
The operation was conducted at around 7:30 p.m. along Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard in Barangay 76 by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office-National Capital Region Northern District Office, in coordination with the PDEA RO-NCR Southern District Office, the PNP Drug Enforcement Group Special Operation Unit NCR, and Pasay City Police Station 1.
Authorities identified the suspects only by their aliases “Ron,” 41, a married resident of Barangay Santa Isabel, Dipolog City, and “Bai,” 32, a married resident of Barangay Divisoria, Zamboanga City.
Seized during the operation were one opened gray foil pack containing about one kilogram of suspected shabu, which served as the subject of sale, and nine more gray foil packs containing about nine kilograms of suspected shabu.
Also confiscated were three identification cards, two Android mobile phones, one genuine bill used as buy-bust money, and one vehicle.
The suspects will face complaints for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, covering the sale and possession of dangerous drugs.
