Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo and content creator Chloe San Jose have officially revealed their engagement to the public, sharing that they kept the romantic milestone private for nine months.
The pair secretly got engaged on December 18, 2025, during an intimate proposal hosted at a villa in Tagaytay. Choosing to savor the milestone away from media attention, the couple quietly celebrated their commitment while continuing to support each other through major international competitions, including Yulo’s historic Olympic campaign and recent Asian Games appearances.
Reflecting on the private chapter before making the public announcement, San Jose expressed on social media: “For 9 months, we’ve been treasuring this beautiful secret between us, quietly smiling to ourselves and taking our time to cherish it, knowing that one day we’d finally share it with the world”. Looking ahead to their shared future, she added, “Mahal ko, I would choose you in every lifetime. And now, we get to choose each other for the rest of this one”.
