A majority of Filipinos continue to trust and approve the performance of Vice President Sara Duterte, according to a survey released Monday by OCTA Research.

Results of the Tugon ng Masa (TNM) survey conducted from March 19 to 25 this year showed that 55 percent of respondents expressed trust in Duterte, slightly up from 53 percent compared to her previous metrics in the fourth quarter of 2025. However, her performance approval rating declined four percentage points to 50 percent from 54 percent in the previous quarter.

The survey also found that 26 percent of Filipinos expressed distrust of the Vice President, unchanged from the previous period, while 19 percent were undecided, down from 21 percent.

Meanwhile, 28 percent of respondents said they were dissatisfied with her performance, unchanged from the last survey, while undecided responses increased to 22 percent from 18 percent.

The survey polled 1,200 adult respondents nationwide and had a margin of error of ±3 percentage points.
