Personnel from the Manila Department of Environment and Public Services District II Task Force conducted clearing operations along Yuseco Street in Barangay 158, Zone 14, following a fire.
The fire was reported at around 4:05 a.m., prompting the city’s frontline personnel to immediately respond and remove debris and other materials left behind by the blaze.
The cleanup operation sought to restore cleanliness, improve accessibility, and ensure residents’ safety in the affected community.
City officials said the immediate clearing effort was also aimed at speeding recovery and allowing the area to return to normal operations as soon as possible.
The operation forms part of the Manila City Government’s continuing commitment to provide swift emergency response while maintaining clean, safe, and orderly communities.
Through the coordinated efforts of its frontline personnel, the city said it continues to prioritize public safety and the immediate rehabilitation of disaster-affected areas.
