The Makati City Police Station arrested one of the city’s Top 5 Most Wanted Persons in Barangay Bel-Air for alleged violations of the National Internal Revenue Code (NIRC).

According to police, the suspect, a 73-year-old human resource manager known by the alias “Aurora,” was apprehended by the Warrant and Subpoena Unit pursuant to a warrant issued on June 3, 2026 by Judge Leonida Marie Palacios-Galicia of the Metropolitan Trial Court, Branch 62.

The accused faces five counts of violating Sections 255, 253(D), and 256 of the NIRC under Criminal Case Nos. M-MKT-26-03085-CR to M-MKT-26-03089-CR. The court recommended bail of P60,000 for each count, or a total of P300,000.

The Makati City Police Station said the operation was recorded using two Alternative Recording Devices in compliance with Supreme Court rules. The suspect was informed of her rights under the Miranda Doctrine, underwent a medical examination, and is now under police custody pending further legal proceedings.

Police said the successful operation highlights their continued efforts to locate and arrest wanted individuals and maintain peace and order in the city.
