The Department of Migrant Workers has opened a two-day health summit in Quezon City, offering free healthcare and wellness services to overseas Filipino workers and their families.

The 2026 Migrant Workers Health Summit is being held from June 30 to July 1 at the Occupational Health and Safety Center.

The initiative is being conducted in partnership with the Department of Health, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, and the OFW Hospital.

According to the DMW, the summit aims to make essential health services more accessible to OFWs and their dependents while promoting disease prevention and overall wellness.

The agency said free services include hypertension, diabetes, and nutrition assessments, as well as cancer screening, tuberculosis, and HIV testing, and other wellness services.

The DMW said the initiative reflects the government’s continuing commitment to safeguarding the health and well-being of OFWs and their families by bringing preventive healthcare services closer to the migrant worker community.
