Former GMA reporter Nico Waje filed his counter-affidavit in response to complaints of acts of lasciviousness and gender-based sexual harassment filed against him by his former colleague, Athena Imperial.
Waje, accompanied by his wife and legal counsel, Atty. Leo Lalusis, submitted his counter-affidavit before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
While the contents of the counter-affidavit were not disclosed, Lalusis said Imperial’s allegations against his client are not true.
The lawyer added that Waje is prepared to respond to and face all accusations lodged against him.
Lalusis also said they have yet to receive a copy of a similar complaint reportedly filed by another female complainant.
Imperial filed the complaints for acts of lasciviousness and gender-based sexual harassment against Waje on May 13.
The contents of her complaint-affidavit submitted to prosecutors have not been made public.
