The Philippine Embassy in Muscat, Oman, together with the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA)-Muscat, successfully repatriated the final remaining Filipino seafarer from the MV San Antonio on June 15, 2026.

The medical repatriation marked the successful conclusion of a coordinated assistance effort for the vessel’s Filipino crew members, ensuring the safe return of all seven seafarers following weeks of recovery in the Sultanate of Oman.

Throughout their medical confinement, the MWO and OWWA in Muscat provided continuous monitoring, assistance, and logistical support to the crew.

With the return of the final seafarer, all seven Filipino crew members of MV San Antonio have now safely arrived in the Philippines and reunited with their families.

The Philippine Embassy in Muscat reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the welfare and well-being of overseas Filipino workers in Oman and providing necessary assistance to Filipinos in distress abroad.
