DSWD Expands Mobile Hubs to Link Families With Long-Term Support

The Department of Social Welfare and Development is expanding the reach of its non-monetary social protection programs through mobile hubs under the Pamilya sa Bagong Pilipinas Program.

Managed by the DSWD’s Social Technology Bureau, the mobile hubs serve as one-stop venues where families can undergo on-site profiling and registration through the PBP Registry.

The process allows the agency to assess beneficiaries’ needs and connect them with appropriate programs and services beyond direct financial assistance.

The STB regularly announces the schedules and locations of the mobile hubs through its official Facebook page to encourage more families to avail themselves of the agency’s services.

From July 14 to 16, PBP mobile hubs are stationed at SM City Sucat in Parañaque City, SM City Bacolod in Negros Occidental, and SM Center Tuguegarao Downtown in Cagayan Valley.

The hubs are also available at Robinsons Butuan in Agusan del Norte from Monday to Wednesday until August 31.

Families are encouraged to bring their Philippine Identification System identification cards to speed up registration and the matching process for programs suited to their needs.

Dumlao said the hubs serve as gateways to the DSWD’s various non-monetary interventions by helping determine the most appropriate form of assistance for each family.

The PBP Registry was officially launched in May 2025 to mark the International Day of Families.

The initiative is aligned with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s eight-point socioeconomic agenda and his administration’s Bagong Pilipinas vision.
