Four in 10 Filipinos believe President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and his administration serve the interests of the rich or upper class more than those of other sectors, according to a Social Weather Stations survey.

The nationwide survey, conducted from June 20 to 29 among 1,200 adult respondents, found that 43 percent said Marcos serves the interests of the rich. The figure was nearly unchanged from 42 percent in November 2025.

Meanwhile, 35 percent said the administration serves the interests of the poor, down from 37 percent, while 25 percent said it serves the middle class, down from 31 percent.

Marcos received his highest net satisfaction rating among respondents who believed he serves the interests of the poor, at +42, up from +40.

His net satisfaction rating was +13 among those who said he serves the middle class, down from +31, and -35 among those who believed he serves the rich, unchanged from the previous survey.

The same poll showed that 38 percent of Filipinos were satisfied with Marcos’ performance in the second quarter, up from 33 percent in March.

Forty-five percent were dissatisfied, down from 49 percent, while 17 percent were undecided, nearly unchanged from 18 percent.

These figures resulted in a “neutral” net satisfaction rating of -7, calculated by subtracting the percentage of dissatisfied respondents from that of satisfied.

The latest score was an improvement from Marcos’ “poor” net satisfaction rating of -15 in March.

The survey had a margin of error of ±3 percentage points.
