A cloud-based platform designed to integrate artificial intelligence tools and data systems is being developed to support more responsive and scalable digital services.
Globe Telecom said the initiative, referred to internally as the “AI Kitchen,” brings together various tools, data infrastructure, and governance processes to enable the responsible use of AI across its operations.
The platform is supported by programs from Amazon Web Services (AWS), which have been used to deploy AI-enabled applications aimed at improving efficiency and customer engagement.
Anton Bonifacio, Globe’s executive vice president and chief AI officer, said the focus is on building flexible systems that can adapt to evolving technologies.
“Our goal is to remain agile, building adaptable foundations and refining our approach for lasting value,” he said.
The company has also established an internal “AI Community of Practice” to guide teams in developing and implementing AI solutions, with an emphasis on responsible use.
Globe president and chief executive Carl Cruz said integrating cloud technologies is helping modernize infrastructure, strengthen data protection, and support more tailored digital services.
He added that artificial intelligence can help expand access to services such as education and employment, particularly in underserved areas.
“Connectivity today creates equal opportunity. With AWS, we are ensuring that our digital services remain reliable, personalized, and inclusive for every Filipino,” Cruz said.
Cruz also emphasized the need for organizations to adapt quickly to technological change, encouraging continuous learning and experimentation.
“Technology evolves fast; organizations must evolve faster,” he said.
