CIDG Nets 13 in Alleged ‘POGO’ Operation in Muntinlupa

The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) arrested 13 individuals during a manhunt and follow-up operation in Ayala Alabang Village, Muntinlupa City on June 15, 2026, which also uncovered an alleged illegal online gaming operation inside the premises.

According to CIDG Southern Metro Manila District Field Unit (SMMDFU) and CIDG NCR Regional Field Unit (NCRFU), the operation at around 12:15 a.m. led to the arrest of a Provincial Most Wanted Person identified as “Phil,” who was wanted for violations of Republic Act 8484 (Access Devices Regulation Act), as amended, in relation to Republic Act 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012), based on a warrant issued by a Quezon City court on January 26, 2023.

CIDG Director PMGEN Robert AA Morico II said the suspect was allegedly employed in an offshore gaming-related operation being conducted at the same residence where he was arrested.

Authorities said that during the implementation of the warrant, operatives discovered an ongoing online gambling operation being run by 12 individuals—nine males and three females—using multiple websites and platforms.

The following domains were identified during the operation:
vivamaxwin.com, vivamaxwinregister.com, vivamaxwin1.ph, vivamaxwin2.ph, vivamaxwin-pg.com, primogaming8.ph, and primo02.com.

Verification with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) showed that the platforms are unauthorized, following the government’s total ban on Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs).

The 12 individuals were arrested on-site, while ICT equipment—including computers, laptops, mobile phones, and storage devices—were seized for further forensic examination under a Warrant to Seize, Search, and Examine Computer Data (WSSECD). Barangay officials of Ayala Alabang and village security personnel witnessed the inventory of seized items.

CIDG said the operation forms part of enforcement of Republic Act 12312 (Anti-POGO Act of 2025), which prohibits and penalizes illegal offshore gaming operations and related networks.

CIDG commended CIDG NCR Field Unit Chief PCOL John K. Guiagui and SMMDFU led by PLTCOL Christopher Francis P. Siriban for the arrest of the wanted suspect and dismantling of the alleged illegal gaming activity.

The agency reiterated its commitment to intensifying operations against illegal online gaming hubs and urged the public to report similar activities in their communities.
