Cebu Pacific has taken delivery of a brand-new Airbus A320neo, strengthening its fleet modernization program and adding another fuel-efficient aircraft to its expanding network.

The aircraft arrived in Manila on May 23, 2026, from Airbus’ assembly facility in Tianjin, China. It is the second of four A320neo jets scheduled for delivery to the airline this year.

Cebu Pacific expects to receive a total of seven NEO aircraft in 2026 as part of its continuing effort to modernize its fleet and improve operational efficiency.

“The arrival of another Airbus A320neo reinforces our commitment to sustainability while keeping air travel accessible,” Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao said.

“In today’s operating environment, NEO aircraft also play an important role in helping us manage costs, improve operational efficiency, and reduce our carbon footprint,” he added.

The airline said NEO aircraft now make up 74 percent of its jet fleet. Compared with previous-generation aircraft, the newer planes use 15 to 20 percent less fuel per flight and produce significantly lower noise, helping reduce carbon emissions.

Cebu Pacific operates one of the youngest fleets in the world, composed of 14 Airbus A330s, 27 Airbus A321s, 40 Airbus A320s, and 20 ATR turboprop aircraft.

The airline said its diversified fleet allows it to maintain the widest domestic network coverage in the Philippines while supporting more sustainable operations.
