The arrested individuals are now under the custody of their respective operating units for documentation and proper disposition pending the return of the warrants to the issuing courts.
PNP-HPG director Brig. Gen. Rommel Batangan said the arrests reflect the unit’s continuing campaign against wanted persons through intelligence-based operations.
“The PNP-HPG remains relentless in tracking down wanted persons and strengthening intelligence-driven operations to ensure that individuals facing criminal charges are arrested and brought before the courts through lawful police operations,” Batangan said.
The Highway Patrol Group urged the public to continue supporting law enforcement efforts by reporting the whereabouts of wanted persons and other suspicious activities that may threaten public safety.
PNP-HPG said it remains committed to its mission as “Guardians of the Highway” under the thrust of “Sa Bagong PNP, serbisyong mabilis, tapat at nararamdaman.”
