South Korean boy group ATEEZ has released its latest single, “Drip,” ahead of its upcoming EP, GOLDEN HOUR : Part.6, as the eight-member act prepares for another round of international performances in 2027.
Released on October 23, “Drip” builds on the group’s signature blend of hip-hop, electronic music and intense performance-driven concepts. Anchored by a heavy trap rhythm, the track carries a message of confidence and ambition, reflecting how far ATEEZ has come since its debut in 2018.
The song follows “BAD” and offers an early glimpse of the group’s 15th EP, scheduled for release on November 13 through Sony Music Korea and RCA Records.
ATEEZ, composed of Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung and Jongho, has developed a reputation for elaborate stage productions, demanding choreography and music that draws on interconnected stories.
Rather than approaching each release as a standalone project, the group has built a continuing narrative across its albums, beginning with the TREASURE series and extending through FEVER, THE WORLD and GOLDEN HOUR.
That storytelling has become an important part of the group’s identity, giving listeners recurring themes and characters to follow alongside its music. Combined with its theatrical performances, the approach has helped ATEEZ establish a recognizable style in the competitive K-pop industry.
The group’s growing international audience was evident even before “Drip” arrived. According to its label, the music video teaser released on October 20 attracted more than 12 million views across platforms.
ATEEZ has also achieved million-selling releases, charted on the Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100, and received recognition from international music award organizations.
These achievements reflect the group’s progress beyond South Korea, where overseas audiences and concert tours have become increasingly important to its career.
With “Drip,” ATEEZ appears to be drawing on that experience. Its assertive sound and emphasis on self-confidence suggest a group looking to reinforce its established identity rather than pursue an entirely different musical direction.
The single also arrives ahead of a busy international schedule.
ATEEZ is set to begin its announced 2027 tour dates with three performances in Incheon, South Korea, from January 22 to 24, followed by concerts in Tokyo and Kobe in February.
