The Philippine Army, led by Commanding General Lt. Gen. Antonio G. Nafarrete, met with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to streamline updates on the Tatag ng Imprastraktura para sa Kapayapaan at Seguridad (TIKAS) Projects at the Headquarters Philippine Army in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on June 22, 2026.

The meeting forms part of the Army’s commitment to transparency and accountability, ensuring that all funded infrastructure projects are completed on schedule and that public resources are properly accounted for.

Engr. Joel F. Limpengco, Officer-in-Charge Regional Director of the DPWH-National Capital Region Office, led the DPWH delegation that visited Army headquarters. Both agencies exchanged insights and recommendations on ongoing partnership projects in which the Philippine Army serves as the beneficiary or end user.

The Philippine Army previously activated Task Force Engineer to ensure the timely completion of all Army infrastructure projects targeted for completion by 2027.

Officials said the Army remains fully committed to transparency and accountability, emphasizing its mandate to use public funds properly to support defense infrastructure development.

The organization also reiterated its commitment to improving facilities and resources to support mission readiness and operational effectiveness.
