The Armed Forces of the Philippines and Makati Medical Center have renewed their partnership to continue providing healthcare support to military personnel and their qualified dependents.
The agreement was formalized through a memorandum of agreement signed on July 8 in Makati City.
AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo Brawner Jr., Makati Medical Center Foundation Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan, and Makati Medical Center Foundation President Dr. Victor Gisbert led the signing ceremony.
The AFP said the renewed partnership strengthens cooperation with MakatiMed and supports efforts to maintain a healthy, capable, and mission-ready force.
The military said the initiative recognizes the importance of protecting the health and welfare of soldiers as they carry out their mandate to safeguard the country and serve the Filipino people.
Through the partnership, the AFP said personnel and qualified dependents will continue to have access to quality healthcare services under the collaboration with Makati Medical Center.
